In addition to visiting the iconic cities of the south, our small & fortunate group will also experience the exquisite natural attractions of the far north – the magic scenery, colourful springtime floral displays – and the absolutely amazing wildlife! Did you know there are bears, deer, foxes, orcas, dolphins, birds & more in this northern paradise & that is internationally renowned as one of the best wildlife viewing hotspots in the world?

After enjoying our ‘animal-fix’ & other wonderful experiences in the remote wilds of Shiretoko, we’ll visit the famous cities of Tokyo, Osaka & Kyoto that are virtually bursting with culture & history.

Working with a highly reputable Japanese company, we’ve created a unique, exciting & diversified itinerary. And most Gypsies won’t even need special visas or inoculations – just pack your bags, book your flights & join us!

You’ll enjoy quality accommodation (including a night in a traditional Japanese ‘ryokan’); delicious meals; internal transport (including a bullet train) & numerous cultural, educational & fun activities such as a traditional tea ceremony, lunch with an apprentice Geisha, a sumo wrestling demonstration & traditional Japanese baths just to name a few.

You’ll go on nature-based tours to lakes, parks, Mt Fuji & more; take a bear cruise, a whale-watching cruise in the wild north & see spectacular scenic attractions. And on this unusual tour led by Jeremy & Jan & local English-speaking guides, we’ll also witness the lead-up to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics & be able to take advantage of the new Perth/Tokyo direct flights.
