Hooray! We'll soon be able to travel again! It broke our hearts to have to postpone our 2020 tour to Japan because of you-know-what, but now we're raring to go & we're sure you are, too! So why not join us in June 2021 for 14 wonderful days as we discover the wild side of Japan!
In addition to visiting the iconic cities of the southern island of Honshu, our small & fortunate group will also experience the exquisite natural attractions of the less visited northern island of Hokkaido with its magical scenery & amazing wildlife! Did you know there are bears, deer, foxes, orcas, dolphins, birds & more in this northern paradise & that is internationally renowned amongst experts as one of the best wildlife viewing hotspots in the world?
We'll begin our tour in Sapporo, the capital of Hokkaido,. After exploring the island, getting our 'animal-fix' & enjoying other wonderful experiences, we'll visit the famous cities of Tokyo, Osaka & Kyoto that are positively bursting with culture, history & great cuisine.
Working with a highly reputable Japanese company, we've created a unique, exciting & diversified itinerary. And most Gypsies won't even need special visas or inoculations – just pack your bags, book your flights & join us!
You'll enjoy quality accommodation (including a night in a traditional Japanese 'ryokan'); delicious meals; internal transport (including a bullet train) & numerous cultural, educational & fun activities such as a traditional tea ceremony, lunch with an apprentice Geisha, sake tasting, sumo wrestling demonstration, traditional Japanese baths & more.
You'll go on escorted nature-based tours to lakes, parks, Mt Fuji & more; take a cruise in search of bears at optimum viewing time; go on a whale-watching cruise (also best viewing time); see spectacular scenic attractions & learn the secrets of this fascinating country. On this unusual well thought out tour led by Jeremy & Jan & local English-speaking guides, we'll also witness the lead-up to the newly scheduled 2020/21 Tokyo Olympics. It's all so exciting & exotic – how can you resist?
Numbers are strictly limited & several places have already been booked by gypsies who had hoped to join the 2020 tour. So if you've always wanted to visit Japan, get in quick – chop chop!!
