We love the Kennedy Ranges in northern WA but so far we've only explored a relatively small part of this spectacular area. In 2008 we ran our first Discovery Tour there, setting up just a few base camps & venturing out each day to find out more about this scenic, ancient & remote mountain range together. Each night we'd come back to camp to enjoy a delicious bush dinner prepared by our experienced Safari Hostess, Rebina Criddle... certainly a much better welcome than the early explorers would have received!

The territory we covered had been traversed by so few people that the Department of Environment & Conservation asked us to prepare a report for them about our observations & experiences there. The tour was such a success that we ran Stage II of our explorations in the area in 2010 pushing ever further west. That expedition, too, was a fabulous experience.

We hope to visit the area again in 2012, but we'll give the Kennedy's a rest in 2011. Instead we'll be visiting another even more remote & exciting destination which will have huge appeal to outback adventurers!
