Drive yourself in your own or hired 4WD and travel in our gypsy convoy, or travel as a passenger in our escort vehicle! This tour has become a tradition with Global Gypsies and is one of our most popular and challenging expeditions.
Safari led by Tour Guide of the Year, Jeremy Perks. Highlights include Newman, remote and rugged Rudall River National Park, Desert Queen Baths, Carrawine Gorge, Kenndy Ranges and the Ayers Rock of Western Australia - Mt. Augustus.

Tour begins in Newman and ends in Carnarvon. Participants should make their way to Newman independently to meet up with the group the afternoon BEFORE the tour, Tuesday, August 14, for sundowners & a Welcome Dinner, courtesy of Global Gypsies.

Tour Price:
The per person price applies to adults travelling in a self-drive vehicle & includes services of a professional tour guide with expert commentary; three wholesome and nutritious meals a day plus morning tea prepared & served by our Safari Hostess on a participatory catering basis at a cost of $50 per person per day; camping fees; entry fees to national parks; free "Girlspeak" 4WD seminar; free bush skills presentation plus Pre-Departure Workshop & Pre Departure Kit. Please note that a robust 4WD, camping equipment and a vehicle-mounted UHF two-way radio are mandatory for all outback tours - BYO or hire from us at special rates. Novice four-wheel-drivers are welcome - 4WD tuition is part of the package! Vehicle numbers are strictly limited on all tag-along-tours to ensure a quality experience for participants and time for plenty of one-on-one attention.
Some limited seating for passengers in escort vehicle at $2750 per person (includes transport, catering & camping gear).
