Discover the rugged beauty of the Kimberley region on this self-drive, 4WD tag-along tour. We'll visit all the top spots - Broome, Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek, Mitchell Falls, Gibb River Road, Lake Argyle, Bungle Bungles, Geikie Gorge & more.
Explore one of the most scenic & rugged parts of Australia in a small convoy of like-minded adventurers - independent but not alone!! Enjoy nights under the stars and some of the best bush catering you'll ever experience, swim in the billabongs, admire ancient rock art, soak up the spirituality of this ancient land.
A vehicle-mounted two-way radio & a robust 4WD vehicle are mandatory for this tour. Limited seating is available for passengers in the escort vehicle. Sorry, no caravans due to rough road conditions but sturdy camper trailers are welcome. The tour will run in August 2010 but we are unable to confirm exact dates yet - please be patient! This tour always books out well in advance so express your interest early!
Tour Price:
Some limited seating for passengers at $2950 per person (includes transport, catering & camping gear).
The per person price applies to adults travelling in a self-drive vehicle & includes services of a professional tour guide with expert commentary; three wholesome and nutritious meals a day plus morning tea prepared & served by our Safari Hostess on a participatory catering basis at a cost of $45 per person per day; camping fees; entry fees to national parks; free "Girlspeak" 4WD seminar; free bush skills presentation plus Pre-Departure Workshop & Pre Departure Kit. Please note that a robust 4WD, camping equipment and a vehicle-mounted UHF two-way radio are mandatory for all outback tours - BYO or hire from us at special rates. Novice four-wheel-drivers are welcome - 4WD tuition is part of the package! Vehicle numbers are strictly limited on all tag-along-tours to ensure a quality experience for participants and time for plenty of one-on-one attention.
